Tom Homan was selected by President Donald Trump to take charge of U.S. border security, as well as the deportation effort of illegal immigrants in the country during his second term in the White House.
Before becoming Trump鈥檚 鈥渂order czar,鈥� the New York native spent many years working as a Border Patrol agent. Prior to joining the Border Patrol he was a police officer in upstate New York.
In 2017, he was appointed by Trump to serve as head of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In November 2024, Homan was officially chosen to be a part of Trump鈥檚 second administration.
