Mariah Carey is a singer and actress who has released many popular songs since the release of her self-titled debut album in 1990. The Grammy award winning artist has released many hit songs, including her Christmas song, 鈥淎ll I Want for Christmas is You.鈥� Carey was married to Nick Cannon for six years and they share twins Moroccan and Monroe.
Carey was born in Huntington, New York to parents Patricia Hickey and Alfred Roy Carey. She want to high school at Greenlawn鈥檚 Harborfields High School before she released her self titled debut album in June 1990.
Her first album including the songs 鈥淰isions of Love,鈥� 鈥淟ove Takes Time,鈥� 鈥淪omeday鈥� and 鈥淚 Don鈥檛 Wanna Cry.鈥� After the release of this album, she got Grammy Awards for best new artist and best pop vocal performance, female.

Carey and Cannon were married from 2008 until 2016. In April 2011, the two welcomed their twins Moroccan Scott and their daughter Monroe. Before Cannon, she was married to Tommy Mottola from 1993 until 1998.
