Brie Larson

Brie Larson has built up an impressive resume in the film industry from starting out acting in a sitcom ā€œRaising Dad,ā€ then playing a part in the Disney Channel movie ā€œRight on Trackā€ to later in her career winning both a Golden Globe and Academy Award for her role in the 2015 movie ā€œRoom.ā€ Larson also played the superhero Captain Marvel in the movie with the same name and the 2019 movie "Avengers Endgame."

Larson was born on October 1, 1989 in Sacramento, California. She went to the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, where she was the youngest student to ever be admitted. After landing a role in the 2001 sitcom ā€œRaising Dad,ā€ she was in the 2003 Disney movie, ā€œRight on Trackā€ and appeared in ā€œ13 Going on 30ā€ in addition to ā€œSleepoverā€ in 2004.

In 2006, Larson was in the movie ā€œHootā€ and was in ā€œRemember the Dazeā€ in 2007. In 2009, she was in ā€œJust Peckā€ and ā€œTanner Hallā€ followed by ā€œGreenberg,ā€ ā€œHouse Brokenā€ and ā€œScott Pilgrim vs. the Worldā€ in 2010.

From 2009 until 2011, Larson played Kate Gregson on the television series ā€œUnited States of Taraā€ and then was in the movies ā€œRampart,ā€ ā€œ21 Jump Street,ā€ ā€œThe Spectacular Now,ā€ ā€œDon Jon,ā€ ā€œShort Term 12,ā€ ā€œThe Gambler,ā€ ā€œDigging for Fireā€ and ā€œTrainwreckā€ over the following years.

In 2015, Larson played Ma in the movie "Room" and earned an Oscar for best actress as well as a Golden Globe in the same category.

In 2016, Larson was in ā€œFree Fireā€ followed by ā€œThe Glass Castle.ā€ She played the lead role in the Netflix movie ā€œUnicorn Store,ā€ a movie that also marked her directorial debut. During that same year, she was in ā€œBasmati Blues.ā€

Larson first starred as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the 2019 movie, "Captain Marvel" and played the role again in the epic conclusion to the ā€œAvengersā€ series ā€œAvengers: Endgameā€ in 2019.

In addition to her movie roles, Larson has also tried her hand in music with her album "Finally Out of P.E." that she released in 2005. Although she has not released any other albums, she has shared videos on social media of her covering songs by other artists.
