DOJ charges SPLC with fraud over extremism funding allegations

The Justice Department charges the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) with fraud, including 6 counts of wire fraud, 4 counts of bank fraud, and 1 count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche alleges SPLC funneled over $3 million to extremist groups it claimed to be fighting.
