Zoo welcomes endangered puppies, raises them with help of surrogate mama dog
The Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, Indiana, is now raising endangered African painted dogs. The 3-month-old puppies are being hand-raised in a canine social structure with the help of a surrogate mama dog, Kassy, a golden retriever.
