Happy New Year: New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo pardons 22 immigrants facing deportation
In a statement, the governor's office says Cuomo recognizes the immigrants' 'rehabilitative efforts' and is removing the 'barriers that their criminal records present to their immigration status.'
