FBI Director Kash Patel revealed federal agents successfully disrupted four major terrorist plots over the holiday season, but warned that despite these wins, the constant pressure to "not miss anything" keeps him "up at night."

Speaking on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, Patel said the bureau is using new technology to prevent attacks, warning a future 9/11-style attack remains a concern.

"I can tell the American public, just look at the month of December alone last year. We stopped four terrorist attacks in four weeks during the holidays," Patel told Hannity.

"Everything from the ‘Pumpkin Day’ plot all the way through the attacks that were going to happen in Texas, Florida and New York — and we stopped them all," he added.

The "Pumpkin Day" plot refers to a foiled ISIS-inspired terror attack that federal authorities said would have involved a massacre in a Detroit suburb. The two Michigan men involved allegedly used the codename "pumpkin" to discuss their plans for a mass shooting.

Patel also said the FBI stopped attacks targeting Texas, Florida and New York. The FBI previously said it thwarted another ISIS-inspired plot in which a North Carolina man allegedly planned to use knives and hammers at a grocery store and fast-food chain on New Year’s Eve.

Patel said the pressure of safeguarding the nation is what keeps him "up at night." "We are the folks that are responsible for safeguarding America," Patel said. "We're doing everything we can to not miss anything."

Patel said officials are "always on the watch for" a potential September 11-style attack. He said after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, officials have been watching for terror groups to "rejuvenate."

To stay ahead of these threats, Patel said the Trump administration worked to modernize the FBI, including using artificial intelligence to expand its capabilities.

"AI was never used at the FBI until we got there. I'm using it everywhere," Patel said. He referenced its use in criminal justice databases to identify fingerprints and expedite arrests, as well as sifting through the massive volume of the FBI tipline.

"Can you imagine how many tips the FBI gets a week? Thousands. If we had just humans look at it, we would never sift through them all," Patel said.

"I put AI in there. We stopped a school massacre in North Carolina because we got a tip and we were able to triage it with artificial intelligence," he added.

The filmmaker behind the latest investigation into Bob Lazar’s Area 51 claims says he does not expect, or even want, the U.S. government to disclose all details.

Appearing on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, executive producer Luigi Vendittelli argued that while the public wants the truth about UFOs, there may be national security concerns preventing President Donald Trump from releasing the full files.

"Maybe that’s why Trump closes up when you ask him," Vendittelli told Hannity. "Maybe he knows something that could potentially make that an open door to adversarial countries to come in."

Vendittelli is an executive producer of the documentary "S4: The Bob Lazar Story," which revisits the claims of the famed Area 51 whistleblower. In 1989, Lazar alleged the government was reverse-engineering nine extraterrestrial craft at a secret facility. The government has long denied employing Lazar.

While Lazar’s claims remain controversial, Vendittelli argues that the government’s secrecy might be a necessary shield against foreign threats.

Vendittelli noted that transparency could backfire by providing information to America’s enemies.

"Let’s say you speak to Trump, and Trump decides to say everything," he said. "You’re [going to] now need a lot of journalists around the world going, 'OK, well prove it.'"

Trump said he spoke with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth about the release, adding they found "many, very interesting documents."

Trump wrote on Truth Social that he intends to release files related to unidentified aerial phenomena and UFOs, along with "all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters."

Former President Barack Obama also weighed in on the alien discussion. Speaking with late-night host Stephen Colbert, he sought to clarify remarks he made earlier this year about their existence.

FBI Director Kash Patel accused the FBI of lying to obtain surveillance warrants to illegally spy on President Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign and subsequent first term.

Trump has long accused his 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton, and former President Barack Obama of being ringleaders in an alleged spying conspiracy against his campaign, an allegation both have denied. Patel detailed the yearslong federal investigation into the alleged surveillance on the latest episode of "Hang Out with Sean Hannity."

"It took me two years of my life to prove the following: that a political party in the United States of America in the 21st century would go overseas and hire some bogus intelligence asset to manufacture fraudulent, fake, unverified information, funnel that to not just the intelligence community, but the Federal Bureau of Investigation," he said.

"And then take those packaged lies that they had paid for with campaign finance funds and go into a secret surveillance court and illegally spy on your opponent to be the president of the United States."

Patel's comments come as scrutiny intensifies over the federal government’s use of spying power and following Congress’ renewal of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) for 45 days.

Section 702 of FISA permits authorized U.S. officials to collect phone calls and text messages of foreign targets, but in doing so can also capture Americans’ communications – a piece of legislation Trump strongly opposes.

Patel told 91�� that FISA warrants – some signed by former FBI Director James Comey – were used to illegally spy on Trump and top officials, including himself, during the 2016 campaign and in years that followed.

"They were actually continuing the weaponization that Donald Trump and I had exposed during Trump One [President Trump's first term]."

Patel was a member of the National Security Council (NSC) in 2019, becoming deputy assistant to the president and senior director for counterterrorism during Trump's first term. He was a chief investigator and primary author of the 2018 "Nunes Memo" alleging FBI bias in Trump-Russia interference investigation.

The FBI-approved warrants, Patel shared, were later rescinded by the FISA court in 2018 after a federal investigation into the alleged spying was completed.

"The FISA court themselves came back and said these warrants were illegal," the FBI director explained. "The FBI did not provide evidence of exculpatory evidence and innocence and that the FBI essentially lied in those applications and all the information was unverified."

"I don't think that's ever happened before... Hollywood couldn't come up with this," he added.

Patel argued that the alleged weaponization of federal law enforcement did not end when Trump first left office in 2021 but was reignited under the Biden administration.

He also vowed to uncover additional evidence.

"I knew in the four years that we were out of office, that they continued to regenerate that institution of weaponization," Patel said. "So when I walked in the door, I said, ‘We only got a bit of it. We only got maybe half of it.’"

FBI Director Kash Patel said he found the agency's "burn bag" room full of sensitive documents tied to the "Russiagate" investigation, but nobody was able to get inside at first — in fact, the room wasn't on the building map at all.

Patel appeared on Tuesday's episode of "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" and referenced a previous discussion on the podcast in which former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino talked about the same room.

More than one "burn bag," which is "a large paper bag that you use to destroy and literally shred and burn classified information," was found inside this secret room "locked away in FBI headquarters," Patel said.

In July, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard alleged that the Obama administration promoted a narrative about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election that she said officials knew was wrong.

Former Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino issued a chilling warning, saying he lives in fear of "thugs" being sent to his home as retribution for his efforts to reform the FBI.

Speaking on an episode of the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, Bongino said what he witnessed during his tenure inside the bureau shocked him to the core and left him "terrified."

"I'm scared, man," Bongino told Hannity. "I know what I did. And I'm proud of my work. And I am proud of what me and Kash [Patel] accomplished in the past year." He added that he thinks every day "they’re going to come for me."

"It comes to my mind every day," he said. "I live like this the rest of my life because I know how they are."

Longevity expert Gary Brecka said his work with Dana White led to startling blood test results, revealing that the UFC CEO may have only had a few years left to live based on his prior lifestyle.

Brecka, who spent 20 years as a mortality-modeling expert in the insurance industry, said on "Hang Out With Sean Hannity" that people in White's inner circle "quietly" asked him to get ahold of the UFC president, reporting that he was falling asleep during important meetings.

The biohacker said he "tricked" White by telling the UFC boss he needed blood work and a genetic test to predict his life expectancy due to worries over White's symptoms, while in reality, existing medical records and demographic data could have sufficed.

He said White was experiencing sleep apnea, low blood oxygen levels, aches and pains, among other ailments. But White's blood test provided cause for concern even before the results were in.

Given the life-threatening alert, Brecka said he immediately booked a flight to White and was on the ground in Las Vegas by 9 a.m.

"And if you make the pipe smaller in a fixed system, the pressure goes up. So his [blood] pressure wasn't being driven up because there was a malfunction with the heart. It was being driven because the pipes were too small."

Steve Murphy and Javier Peña, who helped topple the Medellín Cartel in the early '90s, joined the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast to reveal what they know about Escobar and warn President Donald Trump about what that means for the war on drugs today.

"We're intercepting his phone and he's telling his wife, you know, that he misses her, he's going to be together with her soon. He loves her," Peña said. "Then in the background, you hear a guy yelling. So, he covers the phone, turns it on, says, ‘Cover his mouth!’"

Peña explained Escobar was likely torturing the person heard on the call while telling his wife he loved her. He added that Escobar’s charm could quickly shift to "killing as many people as he could."

"I thought I knew Russiagate," Bongino told Hannity. "It was like 10 times worse."

Bongino described finding a "burn bag," which is typically used to incinerate sensitive documents for security purposes. He said the bag contained the "mother lode" of the investigation, including a document he claims they were "never meant to find."

Dan Bongino reveals how he trapped 'snakes' inside FBI to stop media leaks

Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has revealed a divide within the agency he helped lead, claiming the bureau is split between agents he views as effective and others he described as "snakes."

Bongino joined the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast to discuss his time at the FBI and the internal roadblocks he and FBI Director Kash Patel encountered.

"There were two FBIs trying to help you solve the A, B and C problems, and that's FBI one and FBI two," Bongino said in the episode released Tuesday.

He explained that half of the bureau consists of agents he felt "honored" to be in the room with, including those working in Violent Crimes Against Children (VCAC) and violent crime fugitive task forces. But on the other side of the FBI, Bongino had a different view.

"And then you had this other FBI," Bongino said, adding, "which was populated with, to say, unfortunately, ‘snakes’ is being nice."

He said it was difficult for him and Patel to determine which agents fit each category, noting it was not "always obvious." He added they sometimes relied on outside sources to vet agents, but those efforts were not always accurate.

"You're trying to figure this out, and you're asking someone for advice, you've only been there a couple weeks, and you don't know if that person is part of the good FBI or the bad FBI," Bongino said.

To root out these individuals, Bongino described a tactic he used to identify leakers. He made up an "innocuous" detail about his schedule in hopes it would be leaked. When it appeared in the media, he was able to confront the person with whom he shared it.

"It was like we would play this little game," Bongino said.

Living to 100 could become a 'choice' within five years, human biologist Gary Brecka tells Hannity

Reaching age 100 may no longer be achieved solely by genetics and luck but could become a "choice," according to human biologist Gary Brecka.

Brecka joined the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast to discuss his theory that a convergence of factors may redefine what it takes to reach age 100.

"I believe if you’re alive five years from today, it will be your choice whether you want to live to age 100, possibly longer," Brecka told host Sean Hannity in the episode released Thursday.

Brecka is a human biologist, "biohacker" and longevity expert with years of experience studying the human body. He hosts a podcast that explores the science of aging and optimizing health.

HEALTHY EATING IN MIDDLE AGE HAS THIS KEY LONGEVITY BENEFIT

He said advances in early disease detection and artificial intelligence could help extend human lifespans, potentially prompting people to consider whether they want to live to 100.

"We have a unique time where there's a convergence of early detection, big data and artificial intelligence," Brecka said. "So artificial intelligence can take 700 million independent variables and create an actionable result."

Last year, Brecka made similar comments in an interview with Hannity, saying data "has no agenda." He said he believes artificial intelligence could allow humans to "circumvent" natural limits and take greater control over their lifespan.

Brecka has also voiced support for the Trump administration’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) initiative.

Brecka warned that Americans are "micro-poisoning" themselves through chemicals in the food supply, creating what he calls a culture of "immuno-fatigue."

He went on to argue that, despite our nation spending nearly $5 trillion a year on healthcare, America leads the world in morbid obesity, Type 2 diabetes, infant mortality and maternal mortality among high-income, developed countries.

"And the rates of autism are exploding from one in 10,000 to one in 34 children. Learning disabilities are on the rise, the highest rates of childhood cancer, the high rates of childhood obesity," he added.

"Something has to change."

FOX One announced a significant expansion of its podcast portfolio on Monday that includes eight series from FOX News Media and Red Seat Ventures, inaugurating a curated offering on the streaming service.

Fox Corporation's direct-to-consumer streaming service, FOX One, will add "Hang Out with Sean Hannity," "Ruthless," "The Riley Gaines Show," "Planet Tyrus" and "Will Cain Country," among others to its curated podcast offering.

The expanded lineup from Red Seat Ventures will feature "The Brett Cooper Show," "Keeping It Real: Conversations with Jillian Michaels," and "The President’s Daily Brief with Mike Baker."

FOX One began populating new episodes of the different series on April 20.

Kyle Busch said life on the NASCAR circuit can feel like a "traveling trailer park," but that doesn't mean he feels neighborly toward his fellow drivers. They are his competition, not his friends, he said on "Hang Out With Sean Hannity."

Busch said he spent a lot of time around other NASCAR drivers as they moved from one race to the next.

"We're a traveling circus... or a traveling trailer park, whichever you want to call it, because we're in the same motor home lot every single weekend," he told Sean Hannity on Tuesday's podcast episode.

Busch pointed out that a lot of the drivers who were friendly with one another grew up racing together. Even his own 10-year-old son made friends at the racetrack, he said. But not Busch.

Busch's comments come amid tension between himself and NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, who mentioned Busch on his podcast, "Actions Detrimental."

"Kyle Busch, I can’t hold the guy’s helmet talent-wise. But [him losing races] is not new. He’s struggled for five years now. We have to be honest about our expectations. If you’re expecting Kyle Busch to just go back to victory lane on a regular basis, you are kidding yourselves, and you’re going to be very disappointed," said Hamlin.

Busch replied in a video posted to X by journalist Jeff Gluck, in which the NASCAR star said he would switch vehicles with Hamlin any time.

Ex-CIA official says Trump's 'handshake' deal with China could cut off Iran's weapons, end conflict

Former CIA counterterrorism official John Kiriakou said President Donald Trump’s "handshake agreement" with China could disrupt Iran’s military supply lines and help bring an end to the conflict.

Speaking on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, Kiriakou explained what this could mean for the conflict in the Middle East and outlined the potential impact of an Iranian nuclear weapon.

"The president announced on either X or on Truth Social that he had come to some sort of a handshake deal with the Chinese and that the Chinese were not going to provide weapons [to Iran]," Kiriakou said.

"If that's the truth, then it's pretty much over."

Trump announced the deal with China on Truth Social Wednesday, saying China is "very happy" with his plans to permanently open the Strait of Hormuz after Iran blockaded the vital waterway and disrupted the flow of oil.

"I am doing it for them, also - And the World. This situation will never happen again," Trump wrote, adding that China has agreed to stop supplying Iran with weapons.

The president is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping next month in Beijing. Their meeting was previously delayed over fighting that erupted in the Middle East earlier this year.

Beyond the China agreement, Kiriakou said a nuclear-armed Iran remains a serious threat to the United States. He said assessments of Tehran’s missile range have changed.

Hannity said the U.S. underestimated Iran’s missile range and that missiles could reach major European cities like Paris and London.

Kiriakou confirmed the assessment, saying that by "stripping down" the missiles, Iran "extended the range by something like 60%." He added that even without long-range missiles, Iran could "wreak havoc on the entire region by making a dirty bomb."

In March, the regime launched two intermediate-range ballistic missiles toward the U.S.-U.K. base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, roughly 2,500 miles from Iran, according to Israeli officials. The strike challenged previous assessments of Tehran’s capabilities, which Iran’s foreign minister previously claimed were capped at a 2,000-kilometer range.

Both agreed that the conflict will not turn into a "forever war," with Hannity asserting that Trump "won't let it" happen.

"I can't imagine this turns into one of the long wars. It doesn't make any sense. . . . You know, if it were going to be, we already would have boots on the ground," said Kiriakou.

CIA whistleblower claims Obama-era espionage charges against him were a test run for targeting Trump

Former CIA counterterrorism chief John Kiriakou said his 2012 prosecution was a trial run for the Democratic Party's "template" for lawfare later used against President Donald Trump.

Kiriakou, the CIA officer who led the team that captured al Qaeda terrorist Abu Zubaydah, blew the whistle on the agency’s waterboarding program over a decade ago. He was jailed for nearly two years after the Obama administration charged him under the Espionage Act and the Intelligence Identities Protection Act (IIPA) for disclosing the identity of a covert CIA officer.

Kiriakou claims his conviction was a test case for federal prosecutors. He argues that by testing it on a former CIA officer, the government refined the legal tactics it would later use against President Donald Trump and members of his circle.

"Brett Tolman, the former U.S. attorney from Trump One, former U.S. attorney for Utah, said the Kiriakou case was the template," Kiriakou said on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, adding, "The template for the Democratic Party's policy of lawfare."

He described a system that he says bankrupts targets and ruins their reputations, leaving them unable to fight back.

"The next thing you know, you're drowning in millions of dollars of legal debt, your reputation is ruined," Kiriakou explained, adding, "Of course there's a deep state and it's dangerous."

Kiriakou cited what he described as a classified memo exchange among senior Obama administration officials. He alleged that then-CIA Director John Brennan pushed for espionage charges against him, despite what he said were concerns from the Justice Department. He said the effort was meant to force him into a costly legal defense.

It’s a technique he claims was later used against Trump, and that there are people in the federal bureaucracy who know how to "ruin" even a president.

"If this president does something that they don't like, they know exactly how they can ruin him," he added.

While Kiriakou maintains his prosecution was a political test run, a 2013 press release from the Justice Department accused him of revealing the identity of a covert CIA officer to a journalist.

John Solomon reveals government officials' warning of 'incredible political dirty trick' against Trump

Just the News founder John Solomon said he was approached by unidentified government officials in 2017 who told him he was uncovering what he now alleges is an 11-year conspiracy to undermine President Trump.

"We want to tell you that you’re at the tip of a very large iceberg and you need to keep drilling down," Solomon said, recalling the officials’ warning on the newest episode of the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast.

Solomon said the encounter happened shortly after he appeared on Hannity’s television show, where he had been discussing what he described as a sharp rise in the unmasking of Americans’ communications.

He pulled into his driveway where he saw a government vehicle with its flashers on parked in front of his mailbox. Two men got out of the car, leading him to initially fear he was about to be arrested.

"Well, that thing you were talking about tonight on television... it’s far deeper," Solomon recalled one of the men telling him.

"I sit here, and I watch, and I think like, ‘Wow, it just keeps marching on. The left just keeps eating its own,’" Michaels said.

She explained that because of her diverse background—being part Jewish, part Arab, a gay woman, and the mother to a Black child—she once fit into the labels the Democratic Party championed. Now, after leaving California and speaking out on certain topics, she says their perception of her has changed.

Grace's fiancé, Keith Griffin, was shot and killed by a former co-worker in August 1979 — just months before their scheduled wedding — after the man had been fired by the company.

"When my fiancé was murdered, I didn't even want to say words. I felt like going out in the dark in the woods and just howling like an animal. I didn't have words to say," she said in an emotional interview on a new episode of "Hang Out With Sean Hannity."

Her fiancé’s murderer was convicted in 1980 and served more than 25 years in prison before being paroled in 2006.

As a former prosecutor, she knows firsthand how mishandling of a crime scene early on can complicate the case if it ever gets to court — and it can put the search for Guthrie in jeopardy, too, she said in an interview on Sean Hannity’s new podcast, "Hang Out with Sean Hannity."

But the 84-year-old's suspected abduction also brought back painful memories from her own past — the murder of her fiancé during summer break from college in 1979.

When Guthrie's daughter, "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie, gave her first televised interview with colleague Hoda Kotb last week, the emotional account reminded Grace that "you're never the same" after a loved one is taken away.

The emotions ran raw, Grace told Hannity, but other aspects of the case pained her, too.

The sheriff released the crime scene back to the family before bringing the FBI into the case days later. In the interim, delivery drivers and journalists walked up to the front door, dropping off parcels and taking photographs.

"By destroying the crime scene and by releasing the crime scene too early, they destroyed a lot of evidence," she said.

"People called them 'missteps,' that is certainly putting perfume on the pig, isn't it?" Grace said. "That's a euphemism, 'missteps' — they're screw-ups. The feds wouldn't have done that."

Then, as the special agent in charge of the FBI's Phoenix office was with the Guthrie family filming a video response to a ransom demand that authorities viewed as potentially credible, the sheriff was caught on camera enjoying an Arizona Wildcats basketball game.

Hannity noted that once the FBI did get involved, the bureau worked with Google to obtain imagery from Guthrie's missing Nest doorbell camera that the sheriff's department had not been able to recover.

"I don't like attacking the actual men and women that are doing the work. The fish stinks at the head, Sean," Grace said. "It's Nanos. He stinks. He's gotta go. But that's a distraction to finding Nancy Guthrie."

"When Savannah was talking...when she felt like it was her fault, she said, 'Oh, Mommy, Mommy, I’m sorry. I am sorry,'" Grace said. "It took me right back to that moment — those horrible moments — when I was lying there in the dark, feeling like howling, because there just were no words."

Grace's fiancé, Keith Griffin, was killed on his way to work during a break from college — months before they hoped to get married.

The 23-year-old had a summer gig on a construction crew, she said, and his killer had been fired from the same job before his arrival. Griffin went on a run to pick up drinks for his co-workers and bring them back to the rural job site, arriving in the owner's jacket and driving the company truck.

"The guy came up and just opened fire and shot Keith five times in the face, the neck, the head and the back," Grace told Hannity.

After his death, Grace dropped out of school. But eventually she returned, she said, motivated to help other crime victims.

"When I would be tired or weary, just as when I was prosecuting, I would think about Keith just looking at me with those big, blue eyes, and I would know it was my duty," she said.

"That's your calling," Hannity replied.

She went on to prosecute violent crimes in Atlanta for a decade before becoming one of the most recognizable true crime hosts in America.

At one point, Hannity brought up an emotional moment from Guthrie's interview with Kotb — where she acknowledged that her fame and fortune could have provided a motive for the unknown abductors.

"That's not her fault," he said. "Are we supposed to stop living our lives because there's evil in this world?"

Grace agreed and argued that a victim's family doesn't have a script on how to respond to such a crisis.

Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich sounded the alarm on what he calls a "broken" justice system, claiming the tactics used against him paved the way for the later prosecution of President Donald Trump.

Blagojevich, a former Democrat turned Trump ally, spent nearly a decade in prison after being found guilty of corruption in 2011. He has long maintained his innocence, arguing that the actions he was imprisoned over were simply routine aspects of politics.

"If they want to get you, they do this. And we saw what they did to President Trump, which is unprecedented, unbelievable. I really believe they started with me," Blagojevich said on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast.

In FBI wiretaps, Blagojevich was heard discussing his power to appoint a successor to the Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama after he was elected president in 2008. Prosecutors argued the wiretaps proved he planned to use the appointment to secure personal political favors.

A jury also found he demanded donations from the head of a children’s hospital in return for state support and extorted donations from racing executives in exchange for favorable legislation.

"These weaponized, politicized prosecutors who are abusing their power. It’s uncontrolled, their power, unlimited resources, and they're creating non-crimes for things that are routine and necessary in politics and government," Blagojevich said.

Trump commuted Blagojevich’s sentence in 2020 before granting him a full pardon in 2025. After leaving the White House, Trump faced several legal battles that he, like Blagojevich, blasted as political "lawfare."

Beyond Trump, Blagojevich also compared his case to Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair who was convicted of financial crimes before being pardoned.

"Those tactics they used to pressure and squeeze Paul Manafort to say things about Trump that weren’t true, those are Soviet-style, KGB, police-state tactics in the United States of America."

"It’s very corrupt. And again, when you inject it into the political process, it’s even more corrupt. This is the greatest constitutional crisis in American history since the Civil War," he added.

Four separate cases were brought against Trump during his reelection bid: a Georgia RICO case, a classified documents case, a federal election interference case and a New York "hush money" case.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis did not rule out the possibility of running for president a second time, addressing whether he will make a White House bid in 2028 during an appearance on "Hang Out with Sean Hannity."

"We’ll see," he said. "I think that in ’24, like in Iowa, the people that voted for Trump, if he wasn’t running, I would’ve gotten like 90% of those people."

DeSantis argued that if President Donald Trump had not run for president in 2024, he would have garnered the votes of Trump’s MAGA base.

"They were conservative voters, right? They didn’t want the non-conservative, they wanted me," the governor asserted. "The timing didn’t work out, obviously, for that."

"You just got to see what happens," he added.

DeSantis’ term as governor ends in January 2027, leaving a one-year window to enter the 2028 presidential election – a race with high-profile expected headliners that could include Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

DeSantis dropped out of the 2024 presidential race, despite garnering second-place support in the Iowa caucuses. The Florida governor ultimately finished third in the Republican primary, trailing behind Trump and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

Beyond politics, DeSantis also discussed personal matters, detailing his wife’s battle with breast cancer.

Florida first lady Casey DeSantis was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 and was declared cancer-free in 2022.

"She wanted to get the scan… And so, I told her, I said, ‘Alright listen, I think you’re fine, I think you’re worrying for nothing, but let’s set up and get it done,’" he said.

DeSantis said he took the call on behalf of his wife after she said, "you gotta take this."

"The doctor was like, 'Listen, she’s not gonna die. We’re gonna be able to treat this, but it is positive for breast cancer,’" DeSantis explained.

Liberal former NYC mayor admits 'defund the police,' Biden border policies were mistakes

In a rare moment of bipartisan agreement, former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio admitted to Sean Hannity that he disagrees with the Democratic Party on key issues.

De Blasio gave the blunt assessment on Thursday’s episode of the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast. He also said his party "rightfully" deserves the criticism it has faced over the Biden administration’s handling of the southern border.

"In retrospect, the whole concept of ‘defund the police’ made no sense. It made sense to say, how can we do better?" de Blasio said.

In 2020, de Blasio pledged to cut the New York Police Department’s budget by $1 billion following citywide protests. The funds were instead shifted to other agencies focused on youth centers and public housing.

The former mayor noted that police leaders told him more should be done to give young people positive alternatives, calling it "good for safety" in communities.

"We’re doing good," de Blasio said, adding, "So ‘defund’ was a mistake. And I understand where it came from, but it was a mistake."

When pressed on why he never spoke up earlier, he noted that at the time, he didn’t realize the problem was as bad as it was. De Blasio said he reached that conclusion after President Joe Biden moved to tighten border policies later in his presidency.

In 2014, de Blasio significantly strengthened New York City’s sanctuary city status. He signed legislation to prohibit the NYPD and Department of Corrections from honoring detainer requests from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) unless they had a judicial warrant from a federal judge.

Even with a warrant, they would only cooperate if the individual was convicted of a violent crime or serious felony. He also ended ICE’s permanent office at the Rikers Island jail complex.

"Everything I thought about you – and I really believed it – it was wrong," Hannity said.

The 91�� primetime host detailed how he met Fetterman while the senator was visiting President Donald Trump for a private dinner at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

"The untold story is, I walked up to you and I said, ‘Senator, very nice to meet you.’ I said, 'You should hate me, I'm an a--hole,' and I don't know if you remember that part. I said [it] because, by that time, I'd begun to realize I had you all wrong…"

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., opened up about his close brush with death on 91��' new podcast, "Hang Out with Sean Hannity," saying it led him to let go of negativity and open himself to new conversations amid an increasingly polarized political landscape.

Fetterman survived a severe stroke during his 2022 Senate campaign. He told host Sean Hannity that the incident caused his heart to stop.

"There was kind of touch-and-go at that time. And thankfully I’ve made a full recovery."

The life-threatening stroke left Fetterman with an auditory processing disorder that hampers his ability to understand and communicate speech. To get around this, the senator uses a captioning device that transcribes what is being said, allowing him to read his conversation in real time.

FETTERMAN CONDEMNS DEMOCRATS FOR REFUSING TO PUT 'COUNTRY OVER PARTY' ON IRAN STRIKES

Similar technology was installed in his office and in the Senate chamber, where captions are typed out for him by professional broadcast captioners to help him perform his congressional duties.

Fetterman said the near-death experience inspired a sense of gratitude.

"That stroke could have ended me, or it could have taken my ability to speak or to move or for anything. So… I’m so grateful to be back here."
