'Wonder Woman' star Gal Gadot puts Malibu beach house on the market for $8.75M

Gal Gadot is ready to part with her oceanfront home.

The 40-year-old actress has placed her Malibu, California, home on the market for $8.75 million, and it is listed by Benjamin Illulian of Illulian Realty.

According to Realtor.com, Gadot purchased the three-bedroom and three-bathroom home with her husband, Jaron Varsano, in December 2020 for $5 million.

The 1,956-square-foot home boasts an open floor plan and seamless indoor/outdoor living, and the living room opens up to an outdoor balcony with picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean.

In addition, the home features direct beach access, 80 feet of frontage on Carbon Beach and a two-car garage with an additional eight parking spots for guests. It is also located next to Nobu, Soho House Malibu and the Malibu Pier.

Gadot and her husband first met in 2006 at a yoga retreat in Israel, when the actress was 21 years old and later tied the knot in 2008.

In their time together, the couple have welcomed four daughters — Alma, 14, Maya, 9, Daniella, 4, and Ori, 1.

Most recently, Gadot starred in the live-action remake of the animated Disney classic "Snow White," which was released in March 2025. The movie grossed $205 million worldwide, falling short of its reported $270 million budget.

The Israeli actress said in an August 2025 interview on Israel’s Channel Keshet 12 program "The A Talks," that she believes the Israel-Palestine conflict played a role in the movie's failure.

"I was sure that this movie was going to be a huge success, and then October 7 happened, and what's happening in all kinds of industries, and also in Hollywood is that there's a lot of pressure on celebrities to speak out against Israel," Gadot said.

Later in the interview, she added that no matter how hard one tries "to give people in the world context" and try to get them to understand "what the reality is here," people will ultimately make their own decisions, and she "was disappointed that the movie was greatly affected by that and didn't do well at the box office."

Also in August 2025, Gadot visited Israel and met with the families of those who had been taken hostage by Hamas and held in captivity for nearly two years.

"Snow White" actress Gal Gadot returned to her homeland on Sunday to stand with grieving families at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, widely regarded as the epicenter of Israel’s hostage activism.

The former Israel Defense Forces soldier and "Wonder Woman" star embraced those whose loved ones have been held by Hamas for nearly two years since the Oct. 7, 2023, attack.

Her visit coincided with "Israel on Hold" day – a nationwide protest organized by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, which is demanding the government prioritize negotiations for the release of the roughly 50 remaining hostages abducted during the Hamas-led assault. Nearly 20 are believed to still be alive.

Families fear the government’s recent approval of an expanded military campaign in Gaza, including a planned takeover of Gaza City, could endanger their loved ones rather than secure their release.

Gadot was also seen hugging Einav Zangauker, mother of hostage Matan Zangauker, who was kidnapped alongside his girlfriend Ilana Gritzewsky from Kibbutz Nir Oz during the attack. Einav has since become one of the most prominent figures among hostage families.

Gadot's meeting with the families underscored the deep connection the prominent Hollywood figure sought to make with families whose voices have become central to the national campaign for the hostages. The forum later said they were profoundly touched by her visit.

The women also expressed their gratitude to Gadot for her "outspoken support of the fight to bring the hostages home," the Forum noted.

The "Wonder Woman" star shared an emotional post on social media detailing the "profound challenges and deep reflections" of her year with a hospital photo from shortly after her baby girl was born.

Gadot, 39, kept her fourth pregnancy with husband Yaron Varsano a secret and announced she gave birth to their daughter in a post shared online in March.

Gadot thanked her team of doctors at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles for "weeks of dedicated care."

"I made it through and began the road to recovery. Today, I am fully healed and filled with gratitude for the life I’ve been given back," she wrote.

Gadot and Varsano married in 2008 and also share daughters Alma, Maya, and Daniella.

This isn't the first time the actress was able to keep her pregnancy quiet. In 2017, Gadot told Marie Claire that she kept her second pregnancy a secret while filming "Wonder Woman" because she didn’t want to be treated any differently on set.

"I gutted it out," she told the magazine. "I started to come to set with sunglasses. I had this jug of water with huge pieces of ginger. One of the producers kept on asking, 'Why are you drinking that potato water?' They thought I'd gone Hollywood."

In 2022, Gadot, who served in the Israel Defense Forces when she was younger, told InStyle, "Shooting a movie while being pregnant, or when you have a baby" is the most "bad---" thing she’s done.

"I started young," she added. "I was 25 when I was pregnant with Alma. I always wanted to be a young mother. Yeah, three kids. No joke, woman. God bless them, but it's so much work."

Actress Gal Gadot called out the silence on Hamas' use of sexual violence on Sunday in a post on social media, arguing that "the world has failed the women of October 7th."

"We claim we stand against rape, violence against women. We will not let women be victimized and then silenced. We say we believe women, stand with women, speak out for women."

She said the world has failed to call the situation what it is, "an urgent emergency that demands a decisive response."

Gadot called on women and allies of women to speak up as Hamas still has women held hostage.

Progressive caucus chair Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., was pressed on the lack of response from progressive Democrats, who are usually "quick to defend women’s rights and to speak out against using rape as a weapon of war."

Jayapal claimed she has spoken out against Hamas' atrocities, specifically against women, and quickly turned the conversation back to Israel.

Jayapal claimed that she had answered Bash's question and said, "We have to be balanced about bringing in the outrages against Palestinians. Fifteen thousand Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes, three-quarters of whom are women and children."

"And it’s horrible," Bash added. "But you don’t see Israeli soldiers raping Palestinian women."

"I don’t want this to be the hierarchies of oppressions," Jayapal said.

Why Gal Gadot is screening Hamas' horror movie

This is a horror movie no one should have to see, but at the Los Angeles Museum of Tolerance on Wednesday, actress Gal Gadot screened it anyway. "Bearing Witness to the October 7 Massacre" is a 45-minute-long compilation of videos shot by Hamas during their attack. It shows graphic images of murder and destruction, including children being shot and killed in their pajamas.

Outside the screening, "protests" turned violent, with activists physically attacking attendees. Not immune from criticism, Gadot herself was on the receiving end of chatter about the screening being "insensitive" to Palestinians.

As the screening went on, one attendee, Eve Barlow, remarked on X that they could hear the chants of protesters outside alongside the film. They reminded attendees that Jew-hatred isn’t just confined to the Middle East, but right at their front door — literally.

Residents of Los Angeles perhaps didn’t need that reminder, given that just a few days prior, Paul Kessler, a 69-year-old Jewish man was murdered at an anti-Israel protest in Thousand Oaks.

Even though Hamas taped and livestreamed their carnage and even though we’ve learned they tipped off photographers from major publications like The Associated Press, New York Times and more, too many are still doubting the veracity and depravity of the attacks of Oct. 7.

Amnon Shefler, the international spokesman for the IDF, said at the film screening, "They were proud of the depravity and wanted the world to know what they did." My grandfather, Avraham Greenbaum, was a chaplain in the British army during the liberation of the concentration camps. He enabled the documentation of much of the Nazis’ atrocities. This proof, he thought, would silence those who might deny what Jew-hatred had wrought. Mercifully, he’s not around to see the unabashed denial on display around the country.

The mental gymnastics are offensive. First, they claimed they wanted to see the footage. Then they claimed the images were AI-generated. Then they demanded photos from the funerals, which they also deemed fake. We were told not all the 40 babies were beheaded. Some of them were just shot.

They said Hamas doesn’t have hostages, but somehow they are taking good care of the hostages. They said Hamas’s actions on Oct. 7 weren’t all that bad, but if they were bad, they were justified.

This kind of inanity is exactly why Gal Gadot is screening this footage — footage Hamas themselves filmed — and it’s why terrorist sympathizers are angry with her for doing so.

Writing in the National Post, Jesse Kline, who watched the screening in Canada, remarked, "After witnessing these horrors, it’s hard to disagree with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s characterization of this as a ‘battle between civilization and barbarism.’ Which is clearly why Israeli officials have been screening this video for members of the foreign press over the past weeks."

"Wonder Woman" actress Gal Gadot sang the praises of motherhood in a recent interview with Vogue Hong Kong, claiming that having kids "puts everything in perspective" and allowed her to realize "I’m not the most important thing in the world."

The Israeli-born actress who stars in Netflix’s upcoming action-thriller "Heart of Stone," also pushed back on the idea that men simply don’t want to women in big action roles, saying they do, "if the story is good" and if women in the role "makes sense."

Despite Gadot being one of the most famous actresses in the world, she told the outlet that being a mother of three daughters has kept her humble, but has also empowered her at the same time.

In response to a question of how motherhood changed her, the actress claimed, "The biggest thing that changed in my life since I became a mother 11 years ago, was learning that it’s not just about me. She added, "It puts everything in perspective. And you love, like you’ve never loved before. They’re everything to me, I’ll do anything for them."

Gal Gadot is a huge star, but revealed she deals with impostor syndrome as her career continues to grow.

Gadot, 38, opened up about her insecurities in the Hollywood industry and the surprising person who helped her better understand them, in an interview with L'Officiel magazine.

"It’s funny, I always feel like I have this impostor syndrome, because I feel so lucky and I’m so happy that I get to do what I really, really, really love," Gadot explained. "I always feel like, ‘I hope they’re gonna like it.’ There’s never a moment when I’m like, ‘They’re gonna love this.'"

Impostor syndrome refers to someone who believes they are undeserving of their high achievements, according to Psychology Today.

"The Godfather" director Francis Ford Coppola actually helped Gadot gain perspective, she revealed while speaking about her upcoming film "Heart of Stone."

"I remember speaking to Francis Ford Coppola, and I asked him, ‘So how does it feel to be a national treasure?’ And he said, ‘You know, something? I’m always filled with doubts. I’m always afraid they’re not going to like it. I just follow my heart and I come into it humble,'" she recalled.

"I think this was one of the biggest lessons. I’m sitting with the legend Francis Ford Coppola, and he’s talking about how humble and insecure he can get," Gadot added. "I was like, ‘OK, I can be insecure all the time.’"

The "Wonder Woman" star isn't exactly sure what to expect from her new character – Rachel Stone – but she would be happy to reprise the role.

"I can’t believe I got to play the Evil Queen, the first evil villain in the history of Disney. I get to sing and explore my theatrical, evil dark side," she told the magazine. "The first four days, I was really in character, meaning like, it was hard for me to come out of the character, I was so in it. It’s like doing theater. Everything is bigger. Everything is more dramatic. It was a lot of fun."

Teller starred in Swift's music video for her song "I Bet You Think About Me," featuring Chris Appleton, which was notably directed by her great pal, Blake Lively.

The trio were also captured mingling with "Ant-Man" actor Paul Rudd.

Two members of Swift's original "squad," Mariska Hargitay and Cara Delevingne, reunited at the Era's tour in what was a stacked celebrity section.

"Law & Order: SVU" actress Hargitay posted a photo alongside model Delevingne, referencing their iconic appearance in Swift's star-studded music video "Bad Blood" off her 1989 album.

In 2015, Hargitay and Delevingne shared the stage with Swift during her "1989" tour. The trio strutted down the stage in what was a memorable moment for fans in Philadelphia.

LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA AND MOLLY RINGWALD

"Wonder Woman" and super mom Gal Gadot was also spotted with her children at the concert.

The actress shared a series of photos highlighting the exciting night, admitting that one of her children was tired.

"Even with one happy and sleepy child I had the best time. @TaylorSwift you're such an inspiration," the 38-year-old wrote.

In another image, Gadot captured a security guard looking mesmerized during Swift's set, writing "Even the toughest security guy can't stop singing."

Karma was aligned for the audiences of night one and three of the MetLife Stadium stretch of the Era's Tour, as rapper Ice Spice popped up for the final song of the night. Performing the remix to Swift's song, "Karma," featuring Ice Spice, both women walked down the stage and played to screaming crowds.

On Friday night, Swift also debuted her surprise music video with Ice Spice during the concert.

Additional stars spotted over Swift's three-day stay in Jersey included Bradley Cooper, Ben Stiller, Mike Meyers, Gordon Ramsay, Julia Garner, and Emily Ratajkowski, among others.

Swift's tour will continue through August, with her next appearance being Chicago.

Director James Gunn recently clarified Gal Gadot's current position within the DC Universe after he and Peter Safran scrapped plans for "Wonder Woman 3" earlier this month.

In recent weeks, Gunn and Safran, the new co-chairmen of DC Studios, have reversed ideas for the DC movie franchise, including not going forward with Henry Cavill's return as Superman and a third movie installment of Wonder Woman directed by Patty Jenkins.

Following their decisions, many fans have speculated that Gadot, like Cavill, had been removed from any upcoming DC storylines. However, Gunn briefly addressed this concern on social media this week.

On Monday, one fan wrote to Gunn in a comment under a recent Instagram post about the recent controversies stating, "the move to boot Cavill and Gadot," did not "inspire confidence" for future DC projects.

The 56-year-old replied, "I'm not sure where you're getting that we 'booted' Gal." This has led some fans to speculate that Gadot may return to the role in the near future, unlike Cavill.

Before "Wonder Woman 3" was canceled, Gadot had said on social media, "I've been so grateful for the opportunity to play such an incredible, iconic character and more than anything I'm grateful for YOU. The fans. The most amazing, warm, loving fans in the world. I'm still pinching myself to see if I will wake up."

Gunn and Safran have faced a lot of backlash from fans over the prior DC Universe in recent days.

"One of the things Peter & I were aware of when we took the job as heads of DC Studios was a certain minority of people online that could be, well, uproarious & unkind, to say the least," Gunn said on Twitter on Monday. "No one loves to be harassed or called names – but, to be frank, we’ve been through significantly worse. Disrespectful outcry will never, ever affect our actions."

He concluded that all the choices made are "based upon what we believe is best for the story."
