Israeli PM Netanyahu argues public opinion shift on Israel 'correlates almost 100%' to social media

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed on "60 Minutes" Sunday that the dramatic shift in public opinion on his country could be traced to the rise in social media.

"Israel has gone to unbelievable lengths to get innocent civilians out of harm's way," Netanyahu said. "We text message millions of text messages to them—make millions of phone calls to them, pamphlets, leaflets, you name it, OK? We have seen the deterioration of the support for Israel in the United States almost — I would say, it correlates almost 100% with the geometric rise of social media."

He continued, "And that by itself is not what caused it. And I don't believe in, you know, in censoring them or anything. But I'll tell you what happened. We have several countries that basically manipulated social media. And they do it in a clever way. And that's something that has hurt us badly."

Netanyahu acknowledged that Israel has made "mistakes" in its war against Hamas but emphasized that they were not deliberate actions.

Netanyahu remarked that even host Major Garrett would not be immune to negative propaganda if there was enough pressure against him.

An NBC News poll in March found that only 32% of Americans view Israel positively while 39% of Americans saw the nation in a negative light. The shift was far more pronounced among Democrats and independents, while Republicans were still largely sympathetic to the Jewish state.

This shift in opinion followed Israel's war with Gaza, as well as the U.S.-led military strikes on Iran.

During the interview, Netanyahu indicated that the war with Iran was "not over" yet despite significant accomplishments.

"I think it accomplished a great deal, but it's not over, because there's still nuclear material, enriched uranium that has to be taken out of Iran. There are still enrichment sites that have to be dismantled. There are still proxies that Iran supports. There are ballistic missiles that they still want to produce. Now, we've degraded a lot of it. But all that is still there, and there's work to be done," Netanyahu said.

Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner suggested that real plans to tax the rich have not been properly tried in a new interview.

While appearing on the "More Perfect Union" podcast on Thursday, Platner discussed his goal to rein in billionaires, believing that they have "too much power" and are "currently running the country" instead of President Donald Trump.

Platner was then asked how he could implement policies to go after billionaires, such as higher taxes, that do not also affect small businesses as they have in the past.

Platner remarked that his old college roommate, who became an IRS agent, gave him insight into how government organizations are encouraged to target small businesses over billionaires.

"And for years, he would always tell me, he’s like, 'You know, it's very funny. It's much easier just to go down and go after just a small [business]," Platner said.

He continued, "And what's amazing to me is we're doing that, meanwhile, the total amount of uncollected taxes from corporations in this country, is in the hundreds of billions of dollars."

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., tripled down on her critique of billionaires Friday, claiming that the American Revolution was fought against the "billionaires of their time."

"I want to talk about how this is in the heritage of our country, because America was founded… you look at Thomas Jefferson writing to Madison in revolt of British aristocracy," Ocasio-Cortez said at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics. "The American Revolution was against the billionaires of their time. And we are declaring independence from such an extreme marriage of wealth and power and the state that the voices of everyday people did not exist."

Ocasio-Cortez was responding to criticism she received for her comments arguing billionaires didn't "earn" their fortunes and likely built their businesses on "abuse."

And first of all, I mean, call me crazy, but I don't think that every single American aspires to be a billionaire. Former Vice President Kamala Harris supports the idea of releasing the Democratic National Committee's (DNC) 2024 election report despite party leadership refusing to release it.

"As former Vice President Kamala Harris considers another run for president, she is also signaling that she has no problem with a public airing of what went wrong last time — telling donors she believes the Democratic National Committee should release its buried autopsy of her failed 2024 campaign, according to a person who has heard the conversations," NBC News first reported on Thursday.

The report came after DNC Chair Ken Martin repeatedly dodged requests from within his own political party to release the report on where Democrats failed in the last presidential election.

NBC News also clarified that Harris has not discussed her opinion with Martin despite discussing the report with donors.

"While she indicated to donors that she had no issue with releasing it, Harris has not discussed the postmortem with DNC Chairman Ken Martin and did not know about his decision to keep it under wraps until it happened, this person said," NBC reported.

The autopsy, a 200-page analysis conducted from over 300 interviews across 50 states, was originally ordered by Martin in February 2025, shortly after he became DNC chair. However, by December, Martin announced that he had decided against making the results of the report public.

Interim Dean Joshua C. Teitelbaum announced last month that Schapiro would speak at the May 17 ceremony, citing Schapiro's "uniquely informed perspective on American society and the challenges facing colleges and universities today."

Schapiro quickly faced backlash from students who opposed his selection for his lack of connection to the law school and his "harmful" opinions.

Schapiro had previously written about several topics for the Jewish Journal, including his criticism of universities failing to crack down on antisemitic protests during the height of the Israel-Gaza war.

Finland Member of Parliament Päivi Räsänen is appealing her country's Supreme Court decision to criminally convict her on a count of hate speech for a decades-old pamphlet referring to homosexuality as a "developmental disorder."

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) International, which represents Räsänen, told 91�� Digital that she intends to appeal her case to the European Court of Human Rights to uphold her free speech rights after the narrow 3-2 ruling last month.

"The failure of the Finnish Supreme Court to uphold freedom of speech has set a dangerous precedent in my country and across Europe," Räsänen said. "I feel it is my duty to appeal this decision, to reinstate respect for the basic human right that all are free to peacefully express their views in the public square."

The charge centered on a pamphlet Räsänen originally published in 2004 titled, "Male and Female He Created Them: Homosexual Relationships Challenge the Christian Understanding of Humanity," where she argued that homosexuality could be considered a "negative developmental disorder."

"[T]he scientific material unequivocally proves that homosexuality is a disorder of psycho-sexual development. Those who claim that homosexuality is a natural 'healthy' variety of sexuality nullify the evidentiary value found in family background studies for political reasons," Räsänen wrote.

In 2021, Räsänen and Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola were formally charged with "agitation against a minority group" for the pamphlet, a 2019 tweet where she questioned her church’s sponsorship of an LGBTQ Pride event and linked to an Instagram post with a picture of Romans 1:24-27 and a 2019 live radio debate.

Räsänen and Bishop Pohjola were previously acquitted twice by lower courts in 2022 and 2023. Her 2019 tweet was also acquitted for the third time last month.

In a comment to 91�� Digital, ADF International legal counsel Lorcán Price, who is working on Räsänen's case, spoke about the importance of the appeal to combat "Europe’s censorship crisis."

Former 'super Mayor' Tiffany Henyard accused of owing nearly $10,000 in unpaid Illinois rent

Former Dolton, Illinois "super Mayor" Tiffany Henyard and her boyfriend have been accused of owing thousands in unpaid rent as she attempts to run for office in Georgia.

In March, WGN Investigates reported Henyard had been ordered to return to Illinois after her former landlord, Genetta Hull, accused the controversial mayor of failing to pay rent during the final months of Henyard's Illinois term.

When Henyard failed to show up in court, Hull was awarded a default judgment of $10,000.

On Monday, however, Henyard's attorney successfully argued for a new judge and a trial set for June 1.

"It’s taken an emotional toll on me," Hull told WGN Investigates. "I’m exhausted."

In a Facebook video, Henyard celebrated the decision as a "great day in court" and lambasted what she called the "fake news" for cheering her demise.

"Do you know how the fake news went on the news and wrote that I had a $10,000 judgment against me?" Henyard said in the video. "Guess what? This is what they didn't tell you. It got vacated. I bet you they're not going to report that. Fake news."

She argued in the video that a "family emergency" prevented her from traveling to an Illinois court, repeating that she's been living in Georgia.

After losing her bid for re-election as Dolton mayor, Henyard launched a campaign to run in South Fulton County's District 5 on the Fulton County Commission as a Republican.

The elections board later voted 3-1 to approve Henyard’s residency requirement to run for the Fulton County Commission.

President Donald Trump doubled down on his attacks against CBS News' "60 Minutes" host Norah O'Donnell after she asked him about the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner shooter's manifesto.

"She's terrible," Trump said on "The Hugh Hewitt Show" Monday. "I mean, she's interviewed me. She's a regular person that gets paid a lot of money. She's just… she's no different. I could get any woman off the street practically, and they would do just as good a job as her. There's nothing special."

Hewitt accused O'Donnell of rehearsing the question to provoke Trump to walk out of the interview. Trump, however, rejected the idea of walking out of the interview like he did in 2020.

"Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would, because you're horrible people," Trump answered. "Horrible people. Yeah, he did write that. I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anybody."

O'Donnell interrupted to argue that she was quoting the alleged gunman's words, but Trump continued to call her "disgraceful."

Left-wing activists are reportedly frustrated with the upcoming 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles because of the committee's reliance on the police department and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the wake of immigration raids.

The Los Angeles Times reported on Tuesday that organizations like the Fair Game Coalition and the Sunita Jain Anti-Trafficking Initiative have spoken out about the organizing committee LA28's safety plan on protecting human rights, which was released last month.

"The activists told a Los Angeles City Council committee that LA28 plans to rely too much on police and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, organizations that provoke fear and discord among many Angelenos, especially after a wave of violent immigration raids," the article read.

The report also noted that "several left-leaning political groups have been applying increasing pressure on LA28" before the safety plan's release after the board added former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy and Trump's former chief of staff, Reince Priebus.

Maine Democratic candidate Graham Platner promised that he would be "arrested" as a U.S. senator if he wins his election, but Republicans maintain control of the chamber.

Platner held his first campaign event following Maine Gov. Janet Mills' announcement that she would be dropping out of the Democratic primary race, leaving Platner as the presumed nominee for the November election.

Though he expressed confidence that the Democratic Party could regain control of the Senate from Republicans in November, Platner encouraged Democratic senators to push "an element of activism" in their roles by appearing at protests.

Minocqua Brewing Company owner Kirk Bangstad, who offered free beer in the event of President Donald Trump's death, announced his bid for Wisconsin governor on Sunday.

"I’m running for Governor because I believe Wisconsin needs a battle-hardened fighter to join the rest of America to save our Democracy from Trump’s regime, and that person doesn’t exist in the crowded field of Democrats currently running in Wisconsin’s Gubernatorial primary," Bangstad wrote in a Substack post on Sunday.

Bangstad's announcement came a little over a week after his brewery advertised free beer in the event of Trump's death. The Facebook comments came after news of shots being fired at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, where Trump and several of his Cabinet members attended.

Francesca] Hong made, as well as [gubernatorial candidate Mandela] Barnes and the rest of the Corporate Democrats, spilled progressive blood into the water that created a feeding frenzy against me, my fiancé, and my company. Trump’s propaganda machine and the corporate media that continuously fails America with its cancerous 'bothside-ism,' came after me with full force; and that led to me being interrogated and intimidated by the FBI and the Secret Service," Bangstad wrote.

91�� racked up 471.9 million video views on YouTube in April, the third-highest month in the network's history. The network nearly quadrupled the performance of ABC News and NBC News, respectively, and surpassed MS NOW by more than 167 million views. 91�� also significantly outperformed CBS News, generating more than 400 million more video views in April.

Former "Parks and Recreation" star Adam Scott said America lost its "innocence" after President Donald Trump began his campaign in 2015 and questioned whether his series could be made today.

While promoting his new film "Hokum," Scott spoke to Variety on Thursday about his role on the sitcom, which focused on the Parks and Recreation Department of a fictional small town. The series ran for seven seasons and aired between 2009–2015, ending before the 2016 presidential election.

Looking back on the series, Scott remarked that the U.S. has lost a lot of "what was left of its innocence" since the show ended.

Minnesota mayors drag 'ridiculous' bill penalizing cities for not flying new controversial flag

Minnesota mayors are rejecting their state lawmakers' attempt to penalize cities for not flying the new state flag.

Members of Minnesota's Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party pushed legislation Monday to reduce state aid to a county or city that "flies or otherwise makes use of a state flag other than the design of the state flag as certified in the report of the State Emblems Redesign Commission."

Champlin Mayor Ryan Sabas, whose city voted in favor of flying the original flag in February, called this bill a "ridiculous" reaction to a growing opposition movement.

"It's just an absolutely ridiculous bill that Democrats are signing on to because they're scared that this has gained traction," Sabas told 91�� Digital. "Not that it is, it has gained attraction. Every week there's another city or two or three that are passing the same resolution, that are moving forward, not staying silent anymore."

MINNESOTA DEMOCRATS PUSH BILL TO CUT STATE AID TO CITIES THAT FLY THE ORIGINAL STATE FLAG

Sabas explained that he and the City Council made the decision after holding a public discussion, pointing out that most of the local residents were in favor of returning to the original flag. He argued that a bill pulling city aid for rejecting the new flag would go against constituents.

"The simple fact that they say they're going to withhold any kind of funding from a city is absolutely ridiculous. That's the people's money. That's the people's taxes," Sabas said.

Crosslake Mayor Jackson Purfeerst, R., told 91�� Digital that he is thrilled with other cities and mayors pushing back on the bill, calling it "insane" and "total government overreach."

"Punishing local governments for exercising their right to choose, on something that is supposed to be voluntary, does not reflect Minnesota values. It is an overreach of power, plain and simple. In Minnesota, local control, fiscal responsibility, and giving people a voice still matters, and they should be respected," Purfeerst wrote in a statement after the bill was introduced.

MINNESOTA CONSIDERS CHANGING FLAG AFTER HISTORIC 1893 DESIGN ACCUSED OF RACISM AGAINST NATIVE AMERICANS

North Branch Mayor Kevin Schieber, whose city chose not to fly the new flag as opposed to flying the original flag, saw the reaction to the bill as a good opportunity to raise awareness for local Minnesota citizens who felt ignored by the state's decision to change flags.

"There's a lot of people who don't feel like their voices are being heard, and they're being downplayed again and being accused of being racist and not wanting to be inclusive. I don't see that at all," Schieber said.

The State Emblems Redesign Commission voted 11-1 to approve a new flag design in 2023 after critics argued the original flag image, which was first established in 1893, was considered racist to Native Americans.

The new flag now features an eight-pointed star against a navy blue background shaped to resemble Minnesota, next to a solid light-blue field, which represents the state's waters, according to the commission. It was officially adopted in 2024.

The new design has been met with its own criticism from people who consider it to be a poor replacement and others who accused it of resembling the Somali national flag.

"These folks, they want to talk about big picture politics and Donald Trump and No Kings rallies, they're acting like kings right now because things aren't going exactly how they want, so they want a pass a lot of punishments. It seems absolutely just out of bounds and crazy," Sabas said.

California university ranks among the 'most conservative colleges in America'

One California university managed to crack the top 25 list of "most conservative" colleges in the country.

Biola University, a Christian university located outside Los Angeles, was ranked No. 24 out of 932 universities on a list of conservative-friendly schools in America according to Niche. Biola University is also the highest-ranked California-based university on the list.

Only two other California schools cracked the top 100, which included California Baptist University at No. 44, and National University at No. 81.

The Minnesota House of Representatives introduced a bill that could penalize cities and counties for not flying the redesigned state flag.

Members of Minnesota's Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) party pushed legislation Monday to reduce state aid to a county or city that "flies or otherwise makes use of a state flag other than the design of the state flag as certified in the report of the State Emblems Redesign Commission."

If passed, the bill would go into effect in 2027.

The bill followed several cities and communities in recent years voting in favor of returning to the original state flag, which was adopted in 1893. On the same day the bill was introduced, the Inver Grove Heights City Council voted to join Elk River, Champlin, Zumbrota and Plainview in flying the original flag on city buildings.

The State Emblems Redesign Commission voted 11-1 to approve a new flag design in 2023 after critics argued the original flag image was considered racist to Native Americans.

"The seal depicts a Native American riding off into the sunset while a White settler plows his field with his rifle leaning on a nearby stump," The Associated Press wrote in 2023. "The imagery suggests to many that the Indigenous people were defeated and going away, while Whites won and were staying."

The new design has been met with its own criticism from people who consider it to be a poor replacement and others who accused it of resembling the Somali national flag.

In response to the new bill, Republican House Speaker Lisa Demuth called it "dead on arrival," suggesting there was no path forward in the Senate.

"That bill is dead on arrival. There is no way this bill is moving through," Demuth told CBS News. "To know that Democrats are trying to take funding away from our police and fire, from our cities, it's ridiculous. We have real work that could help Minnesotans."

White developer sues Baltimore mayor, city council claiming he was fired because of his race

Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott is among multiple Maryland city leaders being sued over alleged racial discrimination after a White male city developer was fired from his position.

Andrew C. Freeman, the former vice president at East Baltimore Development Inc. (EBDI), filed a lawsuit against Scott, the Baltimore City Council and EBDI on Monday claiming that he was fired shortly after his promotion in 2024 at the behest of the mayor's office for his racial background in the largely Black workplace.

According to the lawsuit, EBDI President & CEO Cheryl Y. Washington allegedly admitted in text messages to firing Freeman less than two weeks after his promotion while attempting to rehire former Chief Real Estate Officer Karen Major Johnson, a Black woman, on Scott's orders under the direction of his then-advisor Calvin Young.

The lawsuit read, "On June 10, 2024, Ms. Washington sent Mr. Freeman a text message in which she wrote, 'Andy this decision was NOT mine! Not at all!! I would have NEVER done this. NEVER! I totally understand your response and don’t take it personally. I feel HORRIBLE!!'"

Freeman claimed that the mayor was "upset" at the news of his promotion after the termination of a Black woman and "had an issue with it," arguing that EBDI was "not focusing on core values."

He added that after he initially threatened a charge of discrimination in 2024, EBDI began asserting that Freeman was terminated for "performance issues" that didn't line up with the company's "core values." His lawyers maintain that his initial promotion proves this argument unfounded.

"Mr. Freeman’s termination is consistent with the Scott Administration’s broader policies and practices that arbitrarily advantage certain racial minorities and women under the guise of promoting diversity, equity and inclusion ('DEI') and disadvantage other people for no other reason than the color of their skin," the lawsuit read.

It continued, "Mayor Scott has explicitly made providing opportunities for underrepresented minorities, particularly Black women, a top priority of his Administration. While lawful DEI initiatives appropriately seek to create equal opportunities for groups that have historically been subjected to discrimination and exclusionary practices, Mr. Scott’s brand of DEI gives people opportunities simply because they check a box."

Freeman is seeking monetary compensation for his firing as well as a permanent injunction from engaging in further discrimination and an order to remedy the past effects of discrimination in other areas.

Former Illinois "super mayor" Tiffany Henyard was reportedly a resident of Georgia while still serving as Dolton mayor in 2025.

After losing her bid for re-election as Dolton mayor, Henyard has since launched a campaign to run in South Fulton County's District 5 on the Fulton County Commission as a Republican.

Last week, Henyard took part in a special meeting of the Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections regarding her qualifications to run for a position prior to the Commission District 5 Primary Election, which will be held on May 19. County law states that a candidate must be a resident of the county for 12 months prior to running in an election.

Henyard argued during the meeting that she has been a legal resident of Fulton County since May 1, 2025. However, Board Commissioner Julie Adams pointed out that she served as Dolton mayor until May 4, 2025, when she formally left office.

"Did you know that in Cook County, Illinois, to hold an office there, you have to be a resident in that jurisdiction?" Adams said. "So, you were the mayor until May 4 of 2025, but yet you’re saying you became a resident of Georgia on May 1 of 2025."

"OK," Henyard responded.

Henyard claimed during the meeting that she was essentially a "lame duck" after losing the mayoral primary election in February to Dolton Trustee Jason House, which led to her moving out of the state.

"But you were mayor, correct?" Adams asked.

"My title was mayor, yes," Henyard said.

Board member Douglass Selby also remarked that Henyard appeared to still be registered to vote in Illinois. The elections board later voted 3-1 to approve Henyard’s residency requirement to run for the Fulton County Commission.

Henyard did not answer questions on whether she still received payments from Dolton through her term as mayor and Thornton Township trustee. Illinois state law dictates that mayors must live in the municipality they represent for their entire term.

Illinois Democratic governor bucks teachers' unions in support for statewide classroom phone ban

Illinois Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker is clashing with the teachers' union regarding a growing movement to ban cellphones from classrooms statewide.

Earlier this month, the Illinois General Assembly passed a bill prohibiting students from using a phone or any other "wireless communication device" during classroom hours. This was an amended version of Senate Bill 2427, which was unanimously passed by the state Senate last year.

The bill must now return to the Senate for a new vote before it can head to the governor's desk. Pritzker has advocated for a ban on phones in classrooms.

"There’s real harm being done, and it’s interfering with our ability to give children the most productive educational environment possible," Pritzker said during his State of the State speech in February. "It’s time to get cellphones out of the classroom. Working together, parents and teachers in school districts like Champaign, Springfield, and Peoria prohibited cellphones in classrooms. Twenty-five states, including Florida, California, Texas and New York, have done this with bipartisan support, and it is time for Illinois to follow suit."

This support for a statewide standard put him at odds against the Illinois Federation of Teachers (IFT), the largest statewide teachers union in Illinois and a strong supporter of Democrats.

IFT Executive Vice President Cyndi Oberle-Dahm criticized the governor and the bill, claiming that schools already have the power to restrict cellphone use at the local level and that the measure will only place additional costs on the schools.

"Schools already have the authority to set cellphone policies, but what they cannot do is fund themselves or the cellphone lockers or pockets that will be required to enforce this unfunded mandate. Only the Governor can ultimately meet the state’s funding obligation," Oberle-Dahm said in a statement in February.

She insisted that Pritzker instead focus on funding other education programs such as special education and school lunches, adding that students need phones as "lifelines" in light of immigration raids.

"Teachers know cellphones can be distracting – we manage that every single day. And, in communities living with real fear about ICE and family safety, phones are also lifelines. We saw that in Chicago, Aurora, Franklin Park, and anywhere federal agents have spread their terror. In times like that, communication is not theoretical. It is about safety," Oberle-Dahm said.

As of January 2026, at least 26 states have enacted statewide policies prohibiting cellphone use during classroom instructional hours. Several other states have also either enacted limits to cellphone use in classrooms or required school districts to establish local policies on phones.

The 33-year-old New Jersey-based law student and housing policy administrator gained a following after winning 31 straight games of the long-running quiz show, the fifth-longest winning streak on the show behind fellow champions James Holzhauer, Matt Amodio, Amy Schneider and current show host Ken Jennings.

His run came to an end on Monday after losing to new player Greg Shahade, winning $882,605 in total prize money.

Former Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse lamented how current generations have "stopped having babies" despite living in a richer world.

"What in the world is happening with the natalism crisis?" Sasse asked on "60 Minutes Overtime" Sunday. "All across the industrialized, rich world, people have just stopped having babies in the last couple of decades."

Sasse added that, out of every demographic, only Mormons and specific Jewish populations have replacement-level birth rates, a detail he found "super weird."

President Donald Trump berated CBS News correspondent Norah O'Donnell and "60 Minutes" Sunday night after reading from the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting suspect's alleged manifesto.

Trump sat down for an interview after authorities identified the suspect as 31-year-old Cole Allen, of Torrance, Calif., adding that he prepared a manifesto outlining his intent and shared anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric on social media.

O'Donnell read alleged portions of the document that alluded to concerns over a rapist and a pedophile and asked for Trump's reaction.

"Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would because you're horrible people," Trump answered. "Horrible people. Yeah, he did write that. I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anybody."

"Do you think he was referring to you?" O'Donnell asked.

"I'm not a pedophile. You read that crap from some sick person? I got associated with all...stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated. Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let's say, Epstein or other things. But I said to myself, 'You know, I'll do this interview and they'll probably...' I read the manifesto. You know, he's a sick person. But you should be ashamed of yourself reading that because I'm not any of those things," Trump said.

O'Donnell interrupted to argue that she was quoting the alleged gunman's words, but Trump continued to call her "disgraceful."

"Look, for whatever reason, we disagree on a lot of subjects. We talk about crime. I'm very strong on crime. It seems like the press isn't. It's not so much the press. It's the press plus the Democrats because they're almost one and the same. It's the craziest thing," Trump said.

And you don’t have to put this on because I don’t want to embarrass you, and I’m sure you’re not," he said, before pointing to Bari Weiss, the new editor-in-chief of CBS News, taking over. "I think you have a great new leader, frankly, because the young woman that’s leading your whole enterprise is a great, from what I know, I don’t know her, but I hear she’s a great person."

"But ‘60 Minutes’ was forced to pay me a lot of money because they took [Harris'] answer out that was so bad," he continued.
