Commute-Case is an electric bike in a box

It looks like a briefcase, but 3-5 seconds later it's an electric bike. The Commute-Case is a novel new trasportation device, that transforms from a suitcase in to a fully-functional "electric personal assistive mobility device" with a top speed of 12.5 mph that doesn't require a license to operate. According to its creators, it has a 25-mile range, costs just 10 cents to recharge and can carry up to 275 pounds. (Green Energy Motors Corp.)

At 27 pounds and 18" x 13" W x 4", it can potentially be used as carry-on luggage, or carried, but also offers a trolley mode like a rolling suitcase. (Green Energy Motors Corp.)

Even when folded, the case offers additional storage space, which you can use for the $5,990 it costs to buy one, although the Illinois-based company is currently offering it at an introductory price of $2,995. (Green Energy Motors Corp.)
